The PhysicianManaged® Joint/Arthritis Support Supplement consists of two unique proprietary blends of ingredients used to manage and support cartilage and joint function.

The first blend of ingredients is a connective tissue support mixture.  This consists of Glucosamine HCl, Chondroitin Sulfate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Manganese Ascorbate, and Boron Citrate.  These ingredients are used as the building blocks in cartilage formulation.   Studies clearly show that, individually and especially in combination, these ingredients help to rebuild cartilage.  The combinations of this specific building block work in a synergistic manner and yield better results.

The second blend of ingredients is used in the management of pain and inflammation.  These include MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), Boswellia, and Bromelain.  This mix appears to give relief to those suffering from osteoarthritis and other types of joint and muscular pains by decreasing the inflammatory response that occurs in these types of conditions.  Alone and in combination, these types of ingredients have been known to reduce joint swelling, maintain blood supply to the inflamed joints, increase mobility, and reduce pain and stiffness in the joints.  It is believed that MSM may also slow the degradation of cartilage, and when combined with glucosamine can provide better and more rapid improvement in patients with osteoarthritis.

It is important to understand that the positive effects utilizing this type of formula are often noticed with a few weeks.  Although some improvement of pain and inflammation may be noticed after a few days, it can be weeks before noticeable effects of cartilage re-growth are realized.  For this reason, it is recommended not to get discouraged or determine the value of this product without a commitment to a complete trial period of 2 to 3 months.
